Capitalized terms not specifically defined herein carry the definitions as applied within our Terms of Service and/or Privacy Policy.

Acceptable Use - Amplify

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of all Oak products, service, or feature does not violate any applicable law or these terms. You represent that you have all rights, licenses, and permissions needed to use our platform. Any offer for, or access to, any product, service, or information on this Website or the Oak Platform is void where either the use or provision of such product, service, or information is prohibited. To this extent, you agree to indemnify and hold us harmless.

Amplify Acceptable and Intended Uses:

  • Business marketing and promotional use by professional creators, influencers, and organizations that maintain a social media presence
  • Distribution of information, including advocacy, awareness, and educational content
  • Community relationship management, such as building, connecting with, and communicating with your audience
  • Distribution of links to legitimate first- and third-party online content, including but not limited to blogs, websites, social channels, vetted fundraising platforms, educational resources, subscription services, and retail sites
  • Sharing and promoting content that legitimately engages your audience and supports your mission
  • Safe and respectful interactions between creators and audiences

You agree you will:

  • Share content that is lawful and relevant to your creative work
  • Validate and verify all content you distribute
  • Distribute links and content you own or have clear rights to use
  • Ensure linked sites are free from malware, harmful code, and exploitive consumer data practices
  • Interact respectfully with audiences, other creators, and organizations
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction
  • Comply with all applicable social media platform terms and usage policies
  • Disclose all required and relevant information to recipients of your content and links

You agree you will not:

  • Link to or promote hate, harassment, threats, violence, or extremist material
  • Engage in, encourage, or facilitate conduct that would constitute a criminal offense or give rise to civil liability
  • Distribute content that exploits or endangers children
  • Distribute pirated media, counterfeit goods, or other illegal or restricted content
  • Distribute non-public personal or sensitive information
  • Distribute non-consensual intimate content
  • Distribute scams, spam, or misleading content
  • Knowingly distribute inaccurate information
  • Promote restricted goods, including but not limited to drugs, weapons, and unsafe or prohibited goods
  • Intentionally obfuscate link destinations or recipients
  • Impersonate another person, brand, or organization
  • Misrepresent or inaccurately imply the legal or organizational status of any entity, including but not limited to federal or local nonprofit tax status
  • Access the Service in order to build a competitive product or service, to build a product using similar ideas, features, functions or graphics as the Service, train or derive models using Service data, or to copy or imitate any ideas, features, functions, graphics, content, or other IP of the Service, Website, or Platform.


Oak may require proof that you are following these rules at any time, and reserves the right to audit your use of the Platform or Services to ensure your compliance, including the use of automated tools and services to detect non-compliance.

Oak reserves the right to suspend, pause, restrict, or terminate user sessions, user accounts, links, posts, automations, and/or activities that violate this Policy or are suspected to be counter to the best interests of Oak, the Oak Platform, our Users, or visitors to our sites and Services.

We reserve the right to remove, disable, delete

These activities include but are not limited to the requirements listed above, as well as any activity deemed fraudulent, dangerous, malicious, or exploitative.

We may take action without advance notice, in addition to such other remedies as Oak may have, to include releasing your details to system administrators at other sites in order to assist them in resolving security incidents.

We may update this Policy from time to time.
